St. Jude’s Academy is a private International Baccalaureate (IB) school located in Mississauga, part of the Greater Toronto Area. The school provides a globally recognized academic program while supporting students who are pursuing elite athletic development. With 20 years of educational experience, St. Jude’s Academy serves approximately 800 students, maintains an average class size of 22, and proudly holds a 100% acceptance rate.

  • At St. Jude’s Academy, we teach the International Baccalaureate Programme for students in JK to Grade 12. Fundamental elements of learning and development occur in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

    The Primary Years Programme (PYP) introduces students to their educational journey with a rich curriculum taught by world leaders in the International Baccalaureate Programme. Students develop a skill set that will carry them through middle years and high school, and then university and life beyond. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) cultivates students who are responsible, principled, and inspired to learn and develop. Confident and diligent young people get their foundation at St. Jude’s Academy.

  • Grades 7 to 10

    The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) prepares students in Grades 7 to 10 for their senior years of high school and their journey into university. Upon completing elementary school education, curriculum expects more independence and responsibility from students as they enter into a more intensive part of their journey. At St. Jude’s Academy, we direct our attention towards making these middle years a supportive, comprehensive preparation for high school and university. Students hone and expand on skills learned in the Primary Years Programme, and are introduced to new skills that will guide them through high school and life beyond.

  • Grades 11 and 12

    The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically rigorous program that prepares students aged 16 to 19 for university. By tending to students’ academic, interpersonal, whole lives, our program develops multi-talented, caring young people who are inspired to contribute good to the world using their unique strengths and talents.

Academic Support

St. Jude’s Academy provides comprehensive academic support for student-athletes through individualized learning support plans, structured study hall periods before exams, and built-in spare periods that allow students to complete additional coursework, study independently, or meet with teachers for extra help.

During designated study hall days, students can review course material, connect with teachers, and stay on top of their academic responsibilities.

Our experienced academic advisors work closely with students to guide course selection, assist with supplementary applications, and provide personalized support to help each student-athlete reach their academic and post-secondary goals. For those pursuing U.S. university opportunities, including NCAA pathways, SAT/ACT preparation is available, with counselors developing individualized academic plans as early as Grade 9 to ensure all required courses and eligibility standards are met.
